Guest: Jocelynn Rodrigues | Host Bob Moffitt. Jocelynn shares her story of how God has redeemed and restored her from living identified as a transgender. Now she is a light in a very dark world – where confusion about gender is common and many have not yet encountered God’s love. Jocelynn speaks about sharing with parents whose children are identifying with the LGBTQ life, who, after hearing her story, find hope. Jocelynn says, “It’s Jesus who can help people’s hearts. And parents have more capacity to speak life into the child.” Jocelynn also has experienced an abortion, and shares openly with others in the church about God’s restoration and mercy; in one case, a woman in her 80’s who had never told anyone about her abortion which happened decades earlier, after hearing Jocelynn’s story, found much solace and forgiveness from God. Jocelynn says, “When Pastors aren’t talking about it…”, it can be perceived as an unforgivable sin. “It’s not something that the church can avoid.” Redeeming Conversations.
