How Can I Walk Alongside Them and Help Them to Know Jesus?

Guest: Joel Bryan | Host: Bob Moffitt. Bob says, “Young people are interested in life for what it can give them. What can I get out of life? How can I take advantage of the world? It seems that your focus is ‘how can I help others?’ We gain the most when we give the most. How much we grow, how much we’re able to flourish depends not on self-seeking, but on asking the question, “How can I help others grow the most?” When we’re able to do that, we flourish.” And that’s exactly what Joel Bryan, 24, is doing. Joel says, “I see the people around me. I think, ‘How can I help these people to know Jesus more and love him more?'” Joel asks the question, “Who are the people around you who you see and you know, and how can you walk alongside them and be a guide to them, and they can be a guide to you?” Joel remarks, “Of all the different ways I spend my time, it’s the things that have Jesus in the center that brings me the most joy, fulfillment, peace and contentment. Look around, pray, and ask, ‘God, what do I have that you’ve given me that I can offer to someone else to be an encouragement and an example?'”
