Praise the Lord for areas of significant progress last month:

In São Paulo, Diógenes and David did a follow-up visit to Pastor Sergio Kaoru and Pastor Janete Nascimento de Jesus.  Their ministries have flourished as they continue to disciple church leaders using Harvest materials.

In Santa Catarina (Balneário Camboriú), the team has enjoyed new opportunities to serve through English classes with the completion of the second module.  In Diógenes’ words, “the classes have been a place where discipleship happens”.  An encouraging meeting where Humberto and Eva Santana reported about the work in Brejões, Bahia, served to instruct and inspire many leaders.  Humberto and Eva build relationships to advance God’s purposes to strategic community sectors, like adult literacy and environmental health.

Pray for the family of each worker, may them be channels of God’s blessings to the world, reaching people with salvation and opportunities to grow like Jesus.

Thank you for your generous gift!

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” This passage of 2 Peter 1.3 inspired 250 children who participated at the VBC at Camelback Bible Church.  Every year, the children work together to spread the love of Christ around the world.  This year they had the opportunity to help children in Brazil.  Their goal was to raise around $1,000 toward the completion of a classroom for the Guarany children.  Among other creative ways to raise their own funds, the children worked hard doing their chores, selling lemonade, donating their birthday gifts, and gave $1,195.34 to this project.  From a classroom that is cold and humid to a new classroom with doors and windows, the children helped expand God’s Kingdom among the Guaranys.  We thank all VBC participants and praise the Lord for this generous gift!  Obrigado!
