Guest: Donna Otto | Bob Moffitt speaks with Donna Otto who, as a young adult, was asked by several women, “Would you mentor us?” Otto at first spent a year telling them no, but they kept telling her during that year how she should mentor them. Otto speaks about her walk of faith in Jesus, including being mentored by Elizabeth Elliott, who spoke into her life, “If you don’t find your disciplines now, you will never do what God has called you to do”. Donna began with 7 women, teaching on four subjects, women meeting around her table. “Teaching other women was not my plan…this was totally led by God’s plan and purpose.” Otto says, “God has something for all of us… if we listen to Him… through the Word, through the ministry of the local church, and women… speaking into my life.” Her mentoring formed what is today Modern Homemakers.
