Date April 1th ,2010.  Brazil: Building Project /files/Donate/Amazon DSC_0595.jpg

Harvest staff have served in the Amazon since 2006 and since the first visit the Cuagu School and Nutrition Center (CSNC) hosted our team.  Since then, our team has worked in the Indian village doing trainings and conferences.  This year, the school had an increase of 100 students to the 250 already enrolled, and the place has become too small to accommodate students, staff, and leaders who come for trainings.  The CSNC is a focal point in the Amazon, where biblical teachings have been applied and disseminated.  The building of two rooms and a restroom will provide a much needed space for meetings, trainings, and classrooms for Indian children.

Cost of project  US$ 1,740. Contact for further information: Cleiton Oliveira, educare@onda.com.br

Date April 8th, 2010.  Bolivia: Car for Ministry. /files/images/Bolivia IMG_8510.JPG

Harvest has trained church leaders in biblical wholism in Bolivia since 2005, and as a result the churches have been qualified to better serve their communities. The ministry has been effective and needs strengthening in areas such as El Alto, La Paz, Oruro, and Cochabamba. However, training events have been requested in other areas and our staff needs a reliable means of transportation to meet this need. The goal of this project is to expand ministry activities in the interior of Bolivia, reaching to the Provinces of Omasuyos, Nor Yungas and Sur Yungas, and Aroma. The purchase of a car in Bolivia will enhance the efficacy of the ministry both in urban and rural areas. Cost of project: US $9,000. Contact for further information: Marcelo Lazo, mlazo@fh.org

One of their projects brought participants of 6 communities together with 172 women visiting more than 3,000 homes and instructing people to combat the proliferation of mosquitoes in their area. In order to multiply initiatives like this one, resources are needed for training materials, office supplies, internet communication, and a supplement for personal support for staff.  Date May 28th, 2010. Rwanda: Car for ministry.  /files/images/05-26-10 RWA Jacob.jpg

A visit to the calendar on this website will show the dynamic ministry done by Jacob in Rwanda.  Just recently he traveled to Bujumbura (Republic of Burundi) and held a Vision Casting conference with an Umbrella of 24 churches of Burundi, he trained people from a church called Christ Gospel and Fellowship Church in Kigali, did a Vision Casting conference in Kabarondo (Eastern province of Rwanda), and a Training of Trainers and Mentorship event in Kigali.  Jacob’s ministry is mainly limited by the lack of a car.  A vehicle will enable him to reach even remote areas of the Great Lakes region of Africa with trainings, assistance for projects, documenting stories, and follow up visits.  Jacob is personally contributing $1,750 of his savings to meet this need.  Would you like to contribute with the remaining funds? Cost of project: US$ 12,000. Contact for further information: Jacob Ndabaramiye,    jacndabaramiye@yahoo.fr

Date July 10th, 2010. Myanmar: Vision Conference. /files/images/IMG_8823.JPG

I will need financial assistance with this VC because it is one of the more expensive places to go to. This is one of those regions where the evangelists trek several days to get to a bus or a boat and have absolutely no money. They need bus and boat fare. I’ll spell it out in the budget. We will limit the delegates to those from Rakhine State this time, so the travel expenses will be less, but even so, to make it worthwhile, I would like to include 40-50 of the key leaders from these different groups.  Cost of project: US$ 1,370.  Contact for further information: Robin Steen, rssteen@gmail.com
